Volunteering Make a donation

At Breast Cancer Haven, we have many different opportunities for volunteers. If you could help us by volunteering regularly or just every now and then at the Havens in London, Leeds or Hereford or at any of our events, then please let us know. We would love to hear from you - volunteers are greatly needed and your time could be extremely valuable to us.

Volunteering at Events
We often need volunteers to help at our ‘special events’, selling raffle tickets, being auction spotters, serving behind the bar or simply looking after our guests. Please contact our Events Team .

Volunteering in the office
We often need additional support in the office, stuffing envelopes, entering data, making up press packs etc – if you are interested in helping out please contact us on one of the phone numbers above.

Volunteering in the Haven Kitchens
We have a Haven kitchen in London and Leeds offering lunch for our Visitors from Monday - Thursday. This is the hub of the Haven and a much valued part of the service we offer. Our delicious healthy, organic, non dairy lunches are all prepared by volunteers, so if you have cooking experience and would like to help out please contact Christine Charlton in London or Carol Williams in Leeds.

Manning a Breast Cancer Haven Stand
Breast Cancer Haven often has information stands at shows, fairs, conferences or even in town centres and supermarkets. Volunteers are always needed to help man these stands. All you need is a warm smile! If you could help us in this way, please contact our Events Team .

Collection Boxes
Collection boxes are important to Breast Cancer Haven as they help get our name out into the community while at the same time raising vital funds for the charity. As a small charity we often find it hard to collect and replace our boxes. We are always looking for people who can help us by collecting the boxes, bringing them back to the Haven and then counting the proceeds. This can be carried out Monday to Friday between 9 and 5.30.
